Abstract/Proposal Submission Guide

  1. Participants are required to submit completed original research papers to the conference.
  2. Abstracts submitted to the ECOEI 2017 should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time.
  3. The manuscript contains nothing that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal. For all manuscripts non-discriminatory language is mandatory.
  4. Abstracts should be arranged in the following order of presentation: Title of the abstract, author(s), name(s), main body of abstract, jel codes, keywords. Affiliation and e-mail of authors should be given in separate references for each author.
  5. Abstracts as a rule should not exceed 500 words.
  6. Fonts should be Times New Roman.
  7. Titles of the Abstract should be 12 point, bold and centered.
  8. Name and Surname of the author(s) should 11 points and bold.
  9. Main text of the abstract should 10 points.
  10. Jel Codes (title) should be written italics and bold 10 points; Jel codes itself should be written 10 points, neither bold nor italic. (At least two Jel Codes has to be written)
  11. Keywords (title) should be written italics and bold 10 points; keywords itself should be written 10 points and bold. Each keyword should be separated with comma “,”. At least four keywords has to be written
  12. For Turkish proposal, please add your Turkish summary in the same format, specified above.

  14. Do not forget to upload your abstract or proposal at the end of the submission.

  6. Please do not left any row between paragraphs (because Word will give space between paragraphs automatically  [step 5])
  7. The body of main paper should be written by Times New Roman with 11nk
  8. Titles of the main body of your paper follows as:

1. INTRODUCTION (Bold Times New Roman 11 point, Upper Case)
2. THEORY OR THEORTICAL BANKGROUND (Bold Times New Roman 11 point, Upper Case)
     2.1.  Traditional Theories (Bold  Times New Roman 11 point, Each word First Letter is Upper)

     2.2. New Theories (Bold  Times New Roman 11 point, Each word First Letter is Upper)
3. Data (Bold Times New Roman 11 point, Upper Case)
4.Econometic Approach ( If you prefer to use any one. It is not compulsory) (Bold Times New Roman 11 point, Upper Case)

NOTE: Please consider that title for the conclusion and reference should not be numbered.

9. Citation and Reference

APA style should be used. Some examples are below:

Single Author: (Hamilton, 1994: 605-610).

Two Author : (Stock and Watson, 1993: 101)

More           : (Choudhry et all, 2012:23)

For Instutition or Organiation: (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development [OECD], 2000: 5-7). For the first time then abbreviation must be used.

(OECD, 2005: 7) Second or third time.

 The same author and the same time:

(Hamilton, 1994a: 605-610).

(Hamilton, 1994b: 5).

Multiple citation used ; to separate each paper

(Stock and Watson, 1993: 101; Hamilton, 1994: 605-610; Choudhry et all, 2012:23)

Note: Second and third line of the each reference should be indented. (Hanging : 0.4”[inch]- approximately 1cm) [This property should be applied only reference section.]
