The University of Dąbrowa Górnicza, founded in 1995, has several years of experience in educating students, conducting research and co-operating with the state economy. Since the beginning of its activity, 20 000 graduates gained practical and theoretical knowledge allowing them to enter the European labour market. The University of Dąbrowa Górnicza offers bachelor, master, bachelor in engineering, doctorate and postgraduate programmes. One can choose from 14 fields of study and over 200 specialties.

Research Centers

The University of Dąbrowa Górnicza is pioneering in reasearch activity. It holds the top ‘A category’ in the field of scientific and R&D activity awarded by the Committee for Evaluation of Scientific Institutions.

Business Engineering Centre

Business Engineering Centre is a research centre founded within the Faculty of Engineering Production. Business Engineering includes knowledge of business administration, technology (engineering) and information technology (IT) and applies it to create business models which take into account some technical and economic aspects as well as organizational, cultural and even political ones.

Center of Technologies Transfer

Center of Technologies Transfer  is a research center founded within the Faculty of Management and Management Engineering and its research areas include cross-border cooperation, science-business relation, culture management.

Center of Modern Methods and Education Technology

The Centre focuses on innovation in the learning process, which is carried out, among others, through e-learning activities, by the use of specially configured e-learning platform. Key academic staff of the centre conduct researches concerning the role of new media and possibilities of e-learning in didactic process.

Alliance of Universities for Democracy

AUDEM is the organization, which unites more than 100 European and American universities. The aim of the organization is the stimulation of the Universities’ share in the construction of democratic societies and market economy.

European Association for Security

The aim of the organization is the implementation of the scientific research as well as education directed to people and companies’ security in modern Europe.

“Forum Scientiae Oeconomia”

“Forum Scientiae Oeconomia” (ISSN 2300-5947 – printed, ISSN 2353-4435 – online)  is a free of charge and open access quarterly scientific journal published by the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Dąbrowa Górnicza. Economic papers, with special attention to management sciences are published in English language. However original articles which inform management research and practice from outside the discipline – such as from psychology, education, sociology, research design – will also be considered.

The international character of the journal is confirmed both by the multinational membership of the Scientific Committee and authors from foreign scientific centers. A high level of content is ensured by the fact that all articles are subject to a double-blind review process by people who are recognized authorities in the given fields of science. Editors of “Forum Scientiae Oeconomia” strive to ensure that the authors of submitted texts receive information about their acceptance or non-acceptance within one month from the date of receipt.
